From Ottoman History Books to Unforgettable Adventures
If you stumbled upon this blog, we definitely have something in common! Our shared passion for travel and discovery! So, hey there fellow wanderer! I have always been some who loved to travel, but my journey in travel writing came from an unexpected but welcome experience. It started with a visit to the stunning Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, which led to late-night reading about the great (and not so great) Sultans of the Ottoman empire. These stories gave my travels a whole new meaning, by turning already beautiful sights into living history, sparking a deeper connection to the world around me.​​

This curiosity turned into action, leading to me eventually packing my bags to immerse myself in the ancient stories I read. This has given me an itch to share and document my experiences so that curious souls like you and I can experience the world through a lens that is immersed in culture, romance and adventure. Along the way, I have shared these experiences with my wonderful girlfriend, my close friends and family, and sometimes, just myself.
